Deffe is a Liteks brand of high quality binding cloths which offers an array of textile based materials under the binding cloths and premium cloths series. Both series brings together binding materials which are carefully curated according to the seasonal colour trends with an eye for an authentic look and feel.
Deffe is ideal to use for binding of books, notebooks, albums, diaries, menus and premium packaging boxes while presenting a high performance in the applications of foil, blocking, to embossing, and screen printing.
Deffe is only produced with fabrics compliant with OEKO-TEX 100 standards. All the papers used in the production are FSC certified acid-free papers. Our products are PVC free in respects to human and enviromental health.

Binding Cloths

deffe Binding Cloth series provides high quality traditional viscose book cloths. The wide range of Binding Cloths series are resistant to pilling and maintains bright colours for a long time. Deffe is only produced with fabrics compliant with OEKO-TEX 100 standards and FSC certified acid-free papers in consideration of human health and environment. If demanded different colour ways can be manufactured for custom orders.

Premium Binding Cloths

deffe Premium Binding Cloths series consists of products developed for all projects other than traditional. The Series has come out of the idea that utilising Liteks’s experiences in the fields of coating and nano technology to provide custom products for printing houses, artists and designers. Premium Cloths range includes variety of products such as Asphalt which is scriptable/customisable through friction, a heat sensitave cloth that changes colour called Thermo-Chromic and a Glow in the Dark product. Scented and Water Repellent products in the series are developed by applying special finishes to fabric. Different varieties of scent alternatives and water repellent finishes, besides these products, can be applied to all products in the deffe Binding Cloths and Premium Cloths series as custom orders. Custom Printed Sateen and Custom Printed Gabardine products are digital printed according to the needs of the projects. Our project partners can choose a print from the wide design pool of the Liteks design office or they can ask for a custom design. Printable is a flexible product which is ready for printing and compatible with UV, offset and screen printing systems.

Custom Orders

As all products in the series of  Binding Cloths and Premium Cloths can be manufactured with different weights of acid-free paper, various scent and water repellent finishes can be applied to all products. Utilising Liteks’ 30 years of experience in technical textiles, it is possible to perform special R&D works and develop products to meet all the textile-based needs and demands of our project partners.
